What to Expect
We meet every Sunday at 10am at Bell Works, 101 Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel, NJ, right off of exit 114 off of the Garden State Parkway.
Stepping into any new environment for the first time can be a little intimidating. This is just as true of a church as it is of anywhere else. For this reason we want to give you an idea of what to expect when you come to Hope Worship Center.
We hope you’ll find the Hope Worship Center family to be just that… a family. We laugh often, talk a lot, make mistakes, share life, and grow together. We have many diverse interests and personalities, but what we have in common is Jesus Christ.
When You Arrive
When you arrive at Bell Works, you will find parking at the main entrance Conference Center. When you enter the building you will be greeted by one of our First Impression Team members.
Please stop by our hospitality table for free coffee and donuts from 9:15-9:55am. If you have children from the ages of 5 to 12 years of age, you will have the opportunity to register your child or children for our Hope Kidz Ministry at the Hope Kids Ministry registration table. Hope Kidz Ministry begins right after worship. Then simply make yourself comfortable until we officially begin the service at 10am.
Welcome/Call to Worship
After the 2nd song, a member of our team will welcome everyone to the worship service. The team member will tell you about our Connect Cards, our Growth Track class, any announcements that need to be made and he or she will tell how you can worship with us through giving. Our worship team will sing 1 more song and after the last song, one of the pastors will pray over the children and youth. After the prayer, the Hope Kids can go directly to the back with one of the teachers very quietly to be escorted to their class.
For the next 35-45 minutes we listen to a sermon from one of our Lead Pastors. The speaker will read a section of the Bible and then explain what it means and why it matters and how we can apply it to our lives today.
After hearing from God’s Word it is common for people to want to respond to what they’ve learned either by praying themselves or by receiving prayer from others. Our first prayer is for those that want to give their lives to Christ. When a person makes a decision to accept Christ as their personal Savior we lead them in prayer with everyone repeating the prayer. That person/s will be escorted by our staff member and our staff member will explain to them What’s Next, after they committed their lives to Christ. Our 2nd prayer is for those that need God to do something in their lives. It maybe be healing in their bodies, their marriage is broken, prayer for a better job, etc. We want to pray and believe God for you and your family.
Our worship leader closes us out with a song and then prays to end the service. After the service is over, our Lead Pastors will be in the back waiting to greet you and to thank you for coming to Hope Worship Center.
If your child or children are in the Hope Kidz Ministry class, we expect to have the parent/s that registered them to pick them up from their class for the security of the child or children.
